Responsibilities

  • Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure the safety and security of the mall.
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify and respond to any security threats or suspicious activities.
  • Enforce mall rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent disturbances.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting patrons with directions, inquiries, and emergencies.
  • Respond promptly to incidents, accidents, and medical emergencies within the mall.
  • Collaborate with mall management, other security personnel, and law enforcement agencies as needed.
  • Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of daily activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum SRP or SPM qualification.
  • Preferably with 2 years working experience in a similar capacity.
  • Ex-Police or military personnel are encouraged to apply.
  • Prepared to perform shift work and weekends.
  • Position is available in The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey.

Responsibilities

  • To check lighting daily and rectify if necessary to ensure scheduled lightings are switched on.
  • To maintain and repair faulty electrical items such as lighting, control panels, and cablings.
  • To ensure maintenance contractors perform scheduled maintenance according to schedule and the required standards.
  • To supervise and monitor sub-contractors for maintenance, repair, and upgrading electrical works.
  • To retrieve electrical consumption readings for utilities reports.
  • To attend and assist in troubleshooting tenants' electrical issues.
  • To attend tenants' inspections for newly installed/annual inspection electrical works to ensure compliance.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma or certificate in Mechanical & Electrical with at least 1 year working experience in a similar field or in the construction field.
  • Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in large shopping centers or business complexes is an added advantage.
  • Easily adapting to changes in demand and requests.
  • Ability to organize and coordinate any events and prepare schedules.
  • Independent and possess good analytical skills.
  • Able to communicate clearly with people at all levels.
  • Physically fit to carry out the job as hands-on work is needed.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe workplace environment without risk to health.
  • Ensure that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules, and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated, and communicated.
  • Ensure the Company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety, and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting.
  • Ensure the completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations.
  • Ensure that all accidents are documented, investigated, and recommended improvements implemented.
  • Ensure that safety inspections are carried out, fire drills and fire alarms are correctly reported, safety inspections, risk assessments, and lone working procedures are managed, and employees are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Co-ordinate the development of health & safety policies, systems of work, and procedures.
  • Ensure full and accurate health and safety and training records are maintained.
  • Establish a full programme of documented health & safety inspections, audits, and checks.
  • Establish a structured programme of health & safety training throughout the Company.
  • Liaise with external health & safety consultants in the provision of training programmes and health and safety services.
  • Manage and devise the agenda for, chair, and formulate & distribute minutes for the Health & Safety Committee meetings. Ensure that all agreed action points are completed within deadlines.
  • Keep up to date with all aspects of relevant health, safety & welfare at work legislation and communicate relevant changes to the business.
  • Provide regular reports to the Director of Housekeeping / Car Park / Safety/Senior Management Team on relevant health and safety activities.
  • Participate in monthly meetings when required to report on relevant health & safety matters.
  • Liaise with suppliers i.e., Insurers, solicitors, government bodies, etc.
  • Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time.

Requirements

  • Degree or certification in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Safety Executive or a similar role within the retail industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing health, safety, and environment programmes.
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels.
  • Proficient in using safety-related software and technology.
